FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is INTAMSYS PLA filament made of?

INTAMSYS PLA filament is made from NatureWorks’ Ingeo PLA resin, a biodegradable thermoplastic derived from renewable resources like corn starch.

Is INTAMSYS PLA filament safe to use indoors?

Yes, it is non-toxic, odorless, and eco-friendly, making it safe for home, office, and educational environments.

What are the recommended print settings for INTAMSYS PLA filament?

Typical settings:

  • Nozzle temperature: 190–220 °C
  • Bed temperature: 50–60 °C
  • Print speed: 40–60 mm/s
(Always fine-tune based on your printer and part design.)

Does INTAMSYS PLA require a heated bed or enclosure?

A heated bed is recommended (50–60 °C) to improve adhesion, but an enclosure is not required, as PLA has very low warping.

What applications is INTAMSYS PLA best suited for?

It’s ideal for prototyping, visual models, educational projects, and parts that don’t need extreme mechanical or thermal resistance.
