It is suitable for long-term skin contact (over 30 days), breathing gas pathways, and mucosal membrane contact (over 30 hours), as well as short-term contact with bone, tissue, and dentin (under 24 hours).

This USP Class VI certified resin is ideal for pharmaceutical and drug delivery uses, particularly applications requiring durability, wear resistance, and low water absorption over time.

Printed parts made with BioMed Clear Resin are compatible with standard sterilization methods.

BioMed Clear Resin is manufactured in Formlabs FDA-registered, ISO 13485 certified facility and is supported with an FDA Device Master File.

BioMed Amber Resin is a durable, rigid material designed for biocompatible applications. It is suitable for long-term skin contact (over 30 days) and short-term contact with bone, tissue, dentin, and mucosal membranes (under 24 hours). Printed parts made with BioMed Amber Resin can be disinfected and sterilized using standard solvent and sterilization methods.

Flame Retardant Resin is a specialty material certified with a UL 94 Blue Card, designed for producing self-extinguishing, halogen-free parts with excellent flame, smoke, and toxicity (FST) performance. It enables easy 3D printing of flame-retardant, heat-resistant, stiff, and creep-resistant components that maintain long-term reliability in demanding indoor and industrial environments exposed to high heat or ignition sources.

This resin meets key standards, including UL 94 V-0 at 3 mm thickness (flammability), FAR 25.853 Appendix F, Part I (flammability), and ASTM E662 (FST).

Flexible 50A Resin V2 is a soft, translucent elastomer with a 50A Shore durometer, ideal for prototyping parts usually made from silicone or very soft rubber.

Printed parts can bend, stretch, and compress repeatedly without tearing, reliably returning to their original shape after each cycle.

Rigid 4000 Resin is a glass-filled material that delivers precision and stiffness comparable to PEEK and PEKK thermoplastics. It produces parts with a smooth, matte, polished finish and offers excellent resistance to heat and chemicals.

Ideal for engineering-grade prototypes, load-bearing components, and industrial applications, Rigid 4000 Resin provides the strength and rigidity needed to withstand heavy use without bending.

High Temp Resin offers a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 238 °C at 0.45 MPa — the highest among Formlabs resins.

It is ideal for producing detailed, precise prototypes and end-use parts that demand exceptional thermal stability, including molds and inserts, components exposed to hot air, gas, or fluid flow, as well as heat-resistant mounts, housings, and fixtures.

Tough 2000 Resin offers strength and stiffness comparable to ABS, making it ideal for durable, functional parts that resist bending and withstand long-term use.

Tough 1500 Resin is a resilient, skin-safe material with strength and stiffness similar to polypropylene (PP). It’s ideal for stiff, pliable parts that bend and spring back quickly, including prototypes, jigs, and fixtures that undergo repeated deflection.

Certified for skin contact, Tough 1500 Resin is also well-suited for wearables, PPE, and consumer products. To maintain skin-safe certification, all recommended post-processing conditions must be followed precisely.

Flexible 80A Resin is a translucent elastomer with an 80A Shore durometer, offering a stiff yet soft-touch feel. It’s ideal for prototyping rubber-like parts with the flexibility of harder rubber or TPU.

Printed parts can endure bending, flexing, and compression, maintaining performance even after repeated cycles.

Durable Resin is a pliable, impact-resistant material designed for squeezable parts and low-friction assemblies. Printed parts are tough, smooth, and resistant to wear, with strength and stiffness comparable to polyethylene (PE) and a coefficient of friction similar to Delrin® (POM).

Use Durable Resin for squeezable prototypes, low-friction assemblies, and jigs or fixtures that must withstand repeated impacts.

Nylon 12 White Powder delivers all the benefits of general-purpose, biocompatible Nylon 12 Powder with the added flexibility of white parts. Use it to create high-contrast medical devices and models or functional prototypes that can be easily dyed for specific applications.

It produces a clean, professional finish that more closely resembles the color and texture of MJF-printed parts compared to traditional SLS prints.
