Its matte surface finish, opaque appearance, and precision make prints ready to use directly off the printer. INTAM™ PPA-CF is a polyphthalamide (PPA) filament reinforced with 15% chopped carbon fiber for FDM printing. As a semi-crystalline aromatic polyamide, PPA provides greater strength, stiffness, and thermal resistance than nylon 6, while being less sensitive to moisture. It also offers excellent chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, and creep resistance.

The Form Cure L V2 uses precise heat and 405 nm light to produce tough, high-strength parts with excellent speed and consistency. It can post-cure large Form 4L/BL prints in as little as 60 seconds, providing 5x more UV power, faster heat-up times, a 26% smaller footprint than the previous model, and capacity for parts up to 19% larger. Choose a validated preset for any of Formlabs’ 45+ materials or adjust time and temperature for custom needs.

Post-curing finishes the chemical reaction started during printing, improving strength, toughness, heat resistance, creep resistance, and surface hardness.

For biocompatible materials, post-curing is required to meet regulatory safety standards.

For ductile, robust parts, Nylon 11 Powder is our higher performance, bio-based nylon material for functional prototyping and small batch production. Nylon 11 Powder is suitable for printing parts that need to bend or take impact.

For best results, print using the Fuse 1+ 30W and optional inert atmospheric control.
