Low Force Stereolithography (LFS)™ 3D printing uses linear illumination and a flexible film tank to turn liquid resin into flawless parts. A key component of the LFS process, the strong dual-layer film at the bottom of the Form 3 Resin Tank, allows for a dynamic and precise print process.

Low Force Display (LFD)™ 3D printing features a robust, flexible dual-layer film tank that ensures consistent, high-quality prints. Each resin tank is equipped with a reusable lid, allowing for easy stacking and external resin storage. Thanks to the individual tanks designated for each resin type or color, material swaps are as simple as inserting a new tank.

Designed for durability, these Resin Tanks maintain dependable performance through at least 75,000 printing layers, which generally equates to 1-2 years of use for the average user.

Grey Resin is a highly versatile general-purpose material that balances fast print speeds, high accuracy, strong mechanical performance, and a presentation-ready finish within a reliable workflow.

It produces stiff, durable parts with a rich matte surface that highlights fine details and rivals injection-molded quality.

Grey Resin V5, designed for the Form 4 Series, prints up to 3× faster than previous versions while delivering enhanced mechanical properties.

Grey Pro Resin is a tough, heat-resistant material with low creep, offering greater elongation and improved toughness compared to Formlabs General Purpose Resins. It is a versatile option for concept models, looks-like prototypes, and functional prototypes that require demanding hands-on testing.

Nylon 12 Powder is a versatile, biocompatible material known for its fine detail resolution and excellent dimensional accuracy. Widely used in SLS 3D printing, it supports both functional prototyping and end-use production of complex, durable parts with strong environmental stability.

The Form 4 Resin Mixer enhances material performance by keeping resin evenly mixed in the tank throughout printing.

A Resin Mixer is required for every print job and is designed to last for the lifetime of your printer. For added convenience, we suggest pairing each Resin Tank with its own Resin Mixer.

White Resin is a versatile material for general-purpose prototyping, design, and detailed models. It produces opaque, matte parts with crisp detail that are ready to use right off the printer. Its neutral undertone also makes it an excellent base for painting or additional finishing.

White Resin V4.1, compatible with Form 3 Series printers, delivers brighter white parts compared to White Resin V4.0.

Black Resin is a versatile material ideal for general-purpose prototyping, design, and models with fine details. It produces parts with a matte surface finish, opaque appearance, and crisp detail—ready to use straight off the printer. Its neutral undertone also makes it an excellent base for painting or further finishing.

Black Resin V4.1, compatible with Form 3 Series printers, delivers deeper blacks and improved print reliability compared to Black Resin V4.0.

Black Resin is a premium, deep-black general-purpose material designed to deliver the ideal combination of fast print speeds, outstanding accuracy, presentation-ready aesthetics, robust mechanical strength, and a streamlined, dependable workflow.

Produce parts that are strong and rigid with a surface quality comparable to injection molding. Its rich, matte black finish highlights fine details with exceptional precision.

Black Resin V5 introduces a new formulation built for the Form 4 Series, enabling prints up to three times faster than the previous version while also enhancing mechanical performance.

Silicone 40A Resin is the first accessible 100% silicone 3D printing material, powered by Formlabs’ patent-pending Pure Silicone Technology™. It eliminates the need for molding or labor-intensive casting, enabling fast in-house production of pure silicone parts in just hours.

With a 40A Shore durometer, 230% elongation at break, and 12 kN/m tear strength, this material produces soft, pliable, and durable parts that withstand repeated stretching, flexing, and compression.

Silicone 40A Resin combines the high performance of silicone with the design freedom of 3D printing, allowing the creation of highly functional parts with excellent chemical and thermal resistance (–25 °C to 125 °C), fine features down to 0.3 mm, and complex geometries not achievable with traditional methods.

ESD Resin is a specialty material for creating custom ESD-safe prototypes and production tooling that boost efficiency and improve yield in electronics manufacturing. Printed parts are static-dissipative with high modulus and impact strength comparable to ABS.

Use ESD Resin to prototype and validate electronics workflows, produce dust- and powder-repelling components, and print enclosures that protect sensitive electronics from static discharge.
